My 17 year old girl is moving to Perth with her partner for the uni and gap year thing
They are gorgeous and will be fine, I still have my 19 boy at home and he is gorgeous so not completely empty nested

Favourite author is Terry pratchet
I work in a training organisation

Hi Chez, I'm Leslie and would like to be your friend as well. This is a wonderful site - humor, friends, open outlooks and perspectives. Welcome!

Hi Chez,
A close friend of mine is moving to Tasmania when her property sells and has asked me to visit her there - can't wait. I'll probably have a Tasmanian holiday sometime in 2010.
Cheers from Caroline

Hi Chez,
Has anyone told you how to upload your photo yet - I've tried a few times but no luck so far.
I have asked you to be a friend - not sure if I did that correctly also.
Hope this note finds you happy and well.
Cheers from Caroline

Tent camping. Build fires for cooking/warmth. Utilize tins and cast iron for pans/griddles. Sleeping bags with extra blankets for colder nights. One extra luxury though.....I will admit....air mattresses that fold up to be about 6"x6" in size - but full size when filled. Can't take the hard ground under my back anymore. Well water for cleaning, bring bottled water for cooking/drinking. I LOVE IT! Oh, I don't have but a few poisonous snakes around and one or two poisonous spiders. No bears in my woods here, those are a few hours north. We do have an occassional mountain lion - but I have never run into one first hand. No crocs - thank the dear lord - because that takes a lot of the fun out of enjoying the water---freely so. I don't take my golden retriever with me camping - and there are one or two small children I could think of that may be alluring to take along for a barrier (SMILE) if that were the case. Save the dog though! haha. Well, you have those funnel spiders, yes? Do you have mambas? No? Those snakes that are nerve-damaging within 30 minutes? If I have it all wrong, don't be surprised. Do you have lots of kangaroos your way? If so, are they pests or do you enjoy them? Questions, questions. lol Enjoyed your post, Chez. Good night.

I'm divorced with a 16 year old. We just went camping. I prefer Reisling or Merlots. So, in the'bush' is like going into the 'woods' here? lol I get a kick out of you on the board...you are not such a "hermit" anymore to us anyhow. Nice profile.
