When I'm not playing WEBoggle, I play ice hockey, participate in Toastmasters, and fill in for William Henry Harrison when he isn't around. I also like silent movies and work as an environmental consultant.

Dear John, Do you mean great-great grandsons? Our history is so young compared to other Nations and Commonwealths..my great grandmother heard the guns at Gettysburg when she was about 12 years old - amazing. History and Political Science - two of my favorite topics. Thanks, Leslie

Ah, I got a "Dear John" message. LOL. No, I mean grandsons. Apparently John Tyler had children very late in life and then some of his kids must have done the same. I really like history and poli-sci too. It's interesting to hear that about your great grandmother. Did she share any personal stories with you or your family about the battle?

Hi John, Been reading more about John Tyler and saw that Daniel Webster still supported Tyler when Tyler left the Whig party. Leslie

Yeah, John Tyler was a somewhat unique man in American politcal history. He needed more supporters though if he wanted a second term. It's hard to believe, although he was born in 1790, he still has two grandsons alive today! Thanks for connecting to me and take care!
