Jean called me this morning before I left for work.... I was very pleased because I had not spoken to her directly since earlier this month, always her mom answering when I called, and Jeannie too out of it to talk.
She says she's had a couple more strokes and things are worse; She was going in for an MRI today, because the doctors are still trying to figure out what's going on in her brain.
She's still going to speech therapy, but says nothing's gotten better.
However, the fact that she spoke quite coherently to me this morning was very encouraging, I think.
